Charlotte specialises in Poulenc's vocal works, French and Russian song, and Early Music. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma and Artist Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and a BMus (Hons) from Royal Holloway University of London. 


 She was born in London and grew up in France singing jazz and musical theatre. Her classical training began in 2004 when she was accepted as one of the youngest singers in the vocal department of the Conservatoire d'Orléans. 

 

Her operatic roles include Poppea, L'Incoronazione di Poppea - Trinity Laban Summer Opera; Echo, Ariadne auf Naxos (scenes); Gretel, Hänsel und Gretel (scenes); Jane Walters (ensemble role), Banished - Trinity Laban Summer Opera; L'Enfant, L'Enfant et les Sortilèges - TL CoLab; Dorinda, Orlando (scenes); Zerlina, Don Giovanni (scenes); Woodpecker, The Cunning Little Vixen - Co-Opera Co.; Frasquita, Carmen (scenes and cover) - Riverside Opera; Sandman, Hänsel und Gretel - Opera Holloway.

 

Her concert work includes a Duo with pianist and composer Frank Perret. Their most recent performance was in Marseille last October, they are currently working on a new song cycle of poetry settings in both French and English.

Charlotte has participated in several recitals in the Old Royal Naval Chapel, she was a soloist in the Early Music Vocal Ensemble that performed under Steven Devine in the 2015 Greenwich Early Music Festival. She has previously performed at the Lute Society in London with Theorbo player Oskar Werninge.

 

She has recently participated in masterclasses with Joan Rodgers, James Gilchrist and David Gowland, and was invited to sing in two recitals given by singers from the Jette Parker Young Artist programme last spring.


Charlotte has been studying under Patricia Rozario OBE since 2012, and Kelvin Lim since 2015.
